These sales and delivery conditions apply to all purchases at Sea-Safe-Up:
Ordering and payment
The online store is open 24 hours a day and you can buy at almost any time. However, we may close the shop for maintenance. You can only make purchases when the store is open and available.
You select the items you want to buy and put them in the "shopping basket". You can edit the contents of the shopping basket right up to the time of ordering and you can continuously check the contents and price of the goods.
Any extra payments such as shipping will be calculated immediately before you are ready to pay.
When you are ready to order, click on "Checkout", where you enter your name, address, email, telephone number, payment method and choose delivery method.
You can change the contents of the shopping cart right up until you confirm your purchase by clicking on the button "Order and pay". After this, your order passes to nautical-Up.com and can no longer be changed.
Payment methods
You can pay with credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro, and country specific payments methods.

VAT (value added tax) for B2B delivery within EU
All prices at Sea-Safe-Up includes VAT, but if valid VAT number is added during checkout and delivery country is not Denmark 0% tax is added (business intro EU delivery)
For delivery in Denmark 25% tax always added.
VAT & Customs duty/expense for delivery outside EU.
For delivery outside EU we won’t charge you EU VAT.
Please note, that you are obliged to bear the local customs duties and further costs incurred.
We are not responsible for knowing the local customs policies. If you have any questions with regards to the customs regulations in your specific country, please contact your local customs office.

Delivery time
Stock status is clearly shown on all products. If all ordered products are in stock they are on workdays shipped within 24 hours.
Usually, you will receive your order within:
- The Netherlands and Germany: 2 business days.
- Denmark: 2-3 business days.
- Sweden: 3-4 business days.
- Most other European countries: 2-10 hverdage.
If the product ordered is not in stock, we will contact you with estimated delivery time.
Cancellation of order
We may cancel an order if it is not possible to deliver the ordered product. You will be informed if such a situation arises, and any payment or reservation made using a payment method will be returned / cancelled.
Acknowledgement of order receipt and order confirmation
When you order an item from us, you will receive a receipt by email to show your order has been received. However, you enter a binding sales contract only when you have received an order confirmation / sales receipt from us.
Cancellation & return period
When you shop with us you have 30 days to cancel and return.
The cancel & return period starts on the day you receive the items. To exercise the right to cancel, you must notify us within 30 days of receipt of the items by mail to sales@nautical-up.com and return the item to us within 30 days of return.
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the package without at the same time clearly notifying us of this.
Items not included in the right to cancellation
Following items are not included in the right to cancellation:
Delivery of items that have been manufactured to the consumer's specifications or have been given a distinct personal touch.
Returns
You must pay the costs of returning the items if you change your mind.
You must attach a copy of the order confirmation or other documentation from your purchase.
The condition of the item when returning
You are liable for any deterioration in the value of the product due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the product's nature, characteristics and the way it functions. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you must not take it into actual use.
If the item has been used in addition to, what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the item's commercial value. Generally, it should be pointed out, that we do not sell used items, and that an item that has been used, has no sales value for us.
Returned items must be sent in original packaging to receive a full refund.
When you send a return package, you are responsible for ensuring that the items are securely wrapped.

Remember to get a receipt and a shipment number for the return package. You bear the risk for the return package until received by us.
Please note! We do not accept parcels without distribution, parcels sent by COD (cash on delivery) or similar.
Refunds
When we receive a return package, we will check the item(s), and you will be refunded the amount you paid to us upon purchase within 14 days.
The amount is always transferred to the same payment method used for the purchase. If for example you paid by credit card, the purchase amount is reversed to the payment card you used for the purchase.
NOTE:
You may lose your purchase amount, in whole or in part. This happens if the product is impaired or damaged because:
- you have used the item(s)
- the item(s) were damaged while you were responsible for them.
- you handled item(s) in a manner other than was necessary for you to determine item(s) nature, characteristics, and the way they operate.
- the item has not been received in its original packaging.
- you have not followed the restrictions above in” Items not included in the right to cancellation” and ” The condition of the item when returning”
Complaints - If there is something wrong with the product
Your purchase is covered by the Danish law, including the rules regarding defects in a product.
This means that you can either have a defective product repaired or replaced, receive a refund or reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.
According to the law, you have 24 months right of complaint. A complaint is justified if the defect is not caused by incorrect use of the product or other incorrect conduct.
Normal wear and tear damage, damage caused by improper use, cosmetic damage, improper care or impacts / accidents are not covered by this warranty.
Wear and tear are natural and unavoidable damage resulting from normal use and exposure to the elements.
You must contact us within a "reasonable period"
You must make your claim within a "reasonable period" after you have discovered the defect. We recommend that you claim as soon as possible and within 2 weeks of the defect being discovered. You can claim by contacting us via email at sales@nautical-up.com or by phone on 0045 2594 2597.
In order to assess your claim, we will ask you the following:
- Send us a brief description of how the damage or defect occurred. Please note that you should contact us as soon as you discover the defect.
- To document the defect, you must send 4-5 photos together with the description. The defect must be clear from at least one of the photos. Additionally, make sure that your photos show the entire product, from the front and back.
- Send the photos via email to sales@nautical-up.com
- Please indicate the order number for the item, or attach a copy of the order confirmation / receipt
- After we receive your photos, we will deal with your claim as soon as possible.
If you are returning faulty item(s), Sea-Safe-Up.com will send you a prepaid return label. If you choose not to use the prepaid return label (making you responsible for all costs associated with shipping) please send the items to:

If the claim is justified, we will refund your reasonable shipping costs incurred when sending the item back to us. Otherwise, you must bear all costs of transport, including our shipping costs for returning the item after the investigation.
Remember that the item(s) must always be well packaged, and you must get proof of postage.
You are responsible for the package / item(s) until received by us. So, keep the postal receipt including information on shipping costs and if applicable the shipment number.

The collection of personal customer information atour website takes place within the framework of existing legislation and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation.
nautical-Up.com collects information from users by four sources:

- Customer service. To be able to perform customer service via our webshop account, email, chat or phone. Answer questions related to your order or previous orders, adjust errors and to guide the customer.

Browsing can trigger a service-e-mail
WE collect your browsing behavior (e.g. categories, brands, products viewed) to improve the communication of relevant products and offers catered to you. An example of this collection is the products you have added to the shopping cart, but then chose not to complete the purchase. This could imply receiving a service email reminding you about the products left in your shopping cart.
Auto login
We automatically detects who you are, based on different parameters such as the IP address, device, social log-in and cookies when you move between different pages and services on the website. This means if you are logged in on our website, you will automatically be logged in the next time you visit our website on the same device.
Analytical tool
We use various analytical tools such as Google Analytics, which assist us in collecting statistics on the use of Sea-Safe-Up.com to create a better experience for you.
Information will not be disclosed or sold to third parties, except in connection with a restructuring or a full or partial sale of the company. Any disclosure in such a situation would be in accordance with current privacy legislation.
Newsletters
When you sign up, you accept to receive news from nautical-Up.com emails with inspiration, exclusive offers, and personal recommendations. Newsletter mails will be sent and monitored by 3rd party software which meets GDPR protection security requirements. We will use your purchases and browsing data to tailor news, we are sending to you.

If we fail to find a satisfactory solution, you can, if the conditions are met, lodge a complaint with the local European Consumer Centre. Governing law and jurisdiction
Purchases of items at the nautical-up websites are subject to Danish law. Any disputes are decided by the ordinary Danish courts.
Access to data as well as change, update or removal of data
As a customer, you are entitled to access your collected data categories (article 15) and you may object to the registration pursuant to the relevant rules in the EU legislation General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Upon appropriate request, we will update, change, or remove personal information that we control with reservation against violating any legislation.
We can reject requests, that are unreasonable repeated, demand disproportional high technical intervention (e.g. development of new system or changing existing process substantially) or affect another individual’s personal data.
